'08 Land Rover LR2

This one is a compact SUV from the stable Land Rover and promises a high style performance with a car-like interior. The 2008 Land Rover LR2 is different from the LR3, but falls in the same league in terms of record-breaking performance and sales.

The 2008 Land Rover LR2 incorporates a 3.2 liter inline six engine, which offers powerful performance on a higher suspension. The vehicle is lighter than the LR3 and more economical. It has a six-speed manual transmission and allows sequential gear changes. There is ample legroom and headroom inside the car and the rear passengers are seated slightly higher than the front for a clearer view of the road.

The cargo space is 58.9 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded; its 26.7 cubic feet otherwise. It has a Roll Stability Control feature for avoiding the roll over in extreme conditions. It has an all wheel drive technology, which gives it a better traction control.

2008 Land Rover LR2



The 2008 Land Rover LR2 represents Land Rover’s bid to have a stronger entry into the mid-size luxury SUV market niche. Land Rover, now owned by Ford, combines the best craftsmanship and quality of both companies and focus them into the new LR2.

The Land Rover was were built in the Jaguar plant, with a Volvo based engine, and a Ford chassis, effectively blending features from a variety of high quality vehicles. This collaborative effort gives the 2008 Land Rover LR2 a chance it lead its class.

Combing the innovations and resources of their parent company has allowed Land Rover to invest in the creation of an excellent example of automotive workmanship.
